How long does it take to put together a car? Hours, right? Maybe, under most circumstances, but not for the Jiffy Jeep Crew! This specialized Canadian Army group is actually capable of disassembling and reassembling an entire jeep in less than four minutes! Don't believe us? See for yourself:
Pretty crazy, right? But why are they capable of performing such a complex task in so little time? The answer comes from history; more specifically, from World War II.

The Willys Jeep was a fixture of the Allied campaigns in WWII, and filled some very specific niche needs for the American military. It needed to be lightweight yet rugged, consist of relatively few parts, and be simply designed enough that it could be assembled or repaired with minimal effort.
It was actually shipped overseas unassembled, and had to be put together on arrival!

Because the Willys contained so few removable parts and featured a frame that detaches from the car's body, it is actually possible to strip the vehicle down to bare bones in a matter of minutes! Check it out in the video above!
