Nissan stole the show at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show with this jaw-dropping concept car. We got a look at the Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo back in 2014, but there have been hints that the next-generation R36 GT-R will look very similar to this updated version.
This latest version on the Concept 2020 Vision GT, dubbed the Fire Knight, has a revised grille that closely resembles that of the next-gen GT-R. And with a name and hood design like that, we wonder if the Dark Knight had anything to do with the design’s inspriation. There are reports that the next GT-R will have a hybrid system of some type, but will include the same twin-turbocharged V-6 engine as the previous model. There isn’t a set date on when Nissan will launch the new GT-R, but don’t be surprised if it arrives in 2018. That would give the current model a lifespan of 10 years, which seems like the perfect amount of time to release this monster. What are your thoughts about the Concept 2020 Vision GT? Would you like to see the GT-R look similar to this supercar?
