Jeep just gave us a sneak peak at what might be the most impressive model from their newest lineup; the Hellcat-powered Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk. The Grand Cherokee looks amazing on it’s own, but that’s not what we are blown away by, it’s the speed!

The 707-hp 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 — which is the same engine featured in the Dodge Challenger and Charger — can zip from zero to 60 in an incredible 3.5 seconds. Yes, you read that correctly: this SUV can hit 60 mph just a few tenths of a second behind a Lamborghini Gallardo. That speed already blows away the non-Hellcat Grand Cherokee SRT, which touched 60 mph in about 4.6 seconds. It looks like Jeep is starting to branch out from their more rugged-focused off-road vehicles and starting to produce some real speed demons — which is just fine with us.
