10 Insane Hyper Cars Coming Out In The Next 2 Years

A decade ago, super cars were the epitome of sports cars, hence their name “super cars”. Well, technology has advanced and new cars have taken the place of the old which has created an entire new tier of cars: Hyper cars. Hyper cars cost millions of dollars and combine amazing aesthetics with even better performance.

Here are 10 of the coolest, most insane hyper cars coming out in the coming year.

Rimac C_Two

The Croation Hypercar startup is coming back with its second fully electric car. It will go from 0-60 mph in under 1.85 seconds and has a projected top speed of 256 mph! The C_Two will be coming out in 2020 and will pack almost 1,900 horses under the hood, costing upwards of 2 million dollars.

Hennessey Venom F5

The Hennessey Venom F5 shows that America can actually compete in the hypercar market. The twin-turbo 7.6 liter V8 is estimated to have around 1,600 horsepower and is said to hit 60 mph in under two seconds.

In 2020 Hennessey will be rolling out 24 of the Venom F5s at a price of $1,600,000 per car.

Bugatti Divo

The Bugatti Divo looks MEAN. This 8.0 liter quad-turbo W16 shells out almost 1,500 horsepower and looks great doing it. The Divo has more downforce, a stiffer suspension, and less weight than its predecessor (the Bugatti Chiron) which actually made it lose some top speed, coming in at only 236 mph.

Divo will be coming out in 2020 and, because only 40 will be produced, is priced at a premium of $5.7 million.

Aston Martin Valkyrie

Aston Martin teamed up with Red Bull Racing to design the new Valkyrie. It will be the first in a series of mid-engine exotic cars from the British market. Aston Martin put a 6.5 liter V12 and actually doesn’t have any turbos or superchargers and is solely electrically assisted allowing the Valkyrie to have 1,160 horsepower.

The Valkyrie will be coming out in 2020 and will cost $2,300,000.

Pininfarina Battista

The Battista is Pininfarina’s first electric vehicle and will contain four electric motors that will generate 1,877 total horsepower and is projected to go from 0-60 in less than two seconds. The top speed is estimated to exceed 217 mph.

Pininfarina’s Battista is scheduled to be released in 2020 and will cost in between 2 and 2.5 million dollars.

Ferrari SF90 Stradale

The new Stradale is the successor to the LaFerrari and is Ferrari’s first ever plug-in hybrid. The Stradale has a twin-turbo 4.0 liter V-8 along with 3 electric motors that gives it a beefy 986 horsepower. Ferrari is claiming it will hit 62 mph in 2.5 seconds and will have a top speed of 211 mph.

Although the price is not official, it has been rumored that the SF90 Stradale will land in the price range of $500,000 to $1,400,000.

SSC Tuatara

A fellow American hypercar, the SSC Tuatara, is succeeding the record setting Ultimate Aero in a more stylish car while still packing a punch. The Tuatara has been under development since 2011 and boasts a 5.9 liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 1,350 horsepower on 91-octane or 1,750 on E85 bioethanol mix.

The Tuatara is coming out in August and looks to be priced at $1.6 million.

Mercedes-AMG One

The new AMG One by Mercedes employs a sleek new design along with a 1.6 liter turbocharged V6 hybrid powertrain and will also have around 1,000 horsepower. With the new aerodynamic body Mercedes claims that the One will reach 124 mph in 6 seconds and will be able to crack 217 mph at top speed.

The release date has not been announced yet, but is expected by many to come in mid to late 2020 and is estimated to cost around 2.5 million dollars.

Koenigsegg Jesko

The Jesko, named after Koenigsegg’s founder’s father, represents the epitome of Swedish hypercar development. It has a 5.0 liter twin-turbo V8 that provides 1281 horsepower on regular gas, increasing to 1603 horsepower on an E85 bioethanol mix. The Jesko has a 9-speed transmission and will easily hit 280 mph.

Koenigsegg know that that there will be a high demand for this car, so their 2020 release will cost in between 2.75 million and 3 million dollars.

McLaren Speedtail

The Speedtail is listed as a “Hyper-GT” and will have seating for 3. It houses a twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8 hybrid power train and has 1036 horses in the back. McLaren has claimed that their new beast is capable of reaching 186 mph in udner 13 seconds and will have a top speed of 250 mph.

The Speedtail is coming out in 2020 and will cost in between $2 million and $2.2 million.
