Seat Covers & Floor Liners

It’s inevitable that, as the years go by, you or someone else riding in your car will spill something. As your car gathers years, it’ll also gather some dirt and stains and the best way to cover up all of that is with some seat covers and floor liners. Now, these could also be used to protect your car from the get-go and avoid the whole mess of needing to cover up the unsightly stains.

When it comes to seat covers and floor liners, you can really tell a lot about yourself with the type or design of the cover or liner you use. Ranging from high luxury leather to simple monochromatic color schemes made of a simple fabric to college themed covers, you can bring your personality into your car and make it yours.

You get what you pay for when it comes to seat covers and liners and the cost can range from as low as $50 for a set of covers and $20 for a set of liners all the way to $150+ for the covers and $100+ for the liners.

Roof Wrap

Sometimes all you need is a minor change to put your cover over the edge when it comes to really being you. Most cars will come with a solid paint job that is the same across the body, but wrapping the roof makes the car look awesome. As pictured above, wrapping the roof gave the car the contrast it needed to stand out and grab attention.

Unless you have the proper tools already, you will need to buy the proper tools in order to work with the wrap. This can be found on Amazon for $25. Wrapping just the roof, if done yourself, can cost as low as $20 for some vinyl wraps and typically lands in the range of $60-$75 for the whole roof.

Exterior Vinyl Wrap

If the whole idea of wrapping seems cool to you, or if you really want to bring your car to the next level in terms of aesthetics, then wrapping your car’s exterior is the next step for you. Wrapping has become extremely popular over the past couple of decades and is a great alternative to painting your car. Wraps are durable and allow for amazing custom designs that reflect your personality.

Wrapping an entire car yourself costs anywhere between $250-$500 depending on what type of wrap you buy and the size of the vehicle. Wrapping an entire car takes time and requires great patience and attention to detail. Although taking it to the shop to get a wrap done would cost a good deal more (usually $1,000+ more) it is a better option for people afraid of messing up the design.

Puddle Lights

Most people haven’t seen this new way of customizing your car before. Door lights, or puddle lights, activate whenever you open your door and shine various logos on the ground outside of your car. The designs you can get vary depending on where you order from and they range from car brands to fun insignias like professional sports teams or a custom one with your initials. It is recommended to find a tutorial on installing these before trying to do this yourself.

Puddle lights range from as low as $5 per light all the way up to over $100 per light with the average price being right around $30 each.

Painted Wheels

Stock wheels don’t always look too cool. Most of the time they are silver and look really bad when they get dirty, but there is a fix for this! Painting your wheels not only customizes the wheels and sets them apart, but also makes them look more premium. Many car owners have scuffs all over his alloy wheels and decide to remove them and paint them, making them look great!

The only cost associated with painting wheels is the cost of paint. Depending on the brand and quality of the paint, you can pay anywhere from $20 to $80 for all of the wheels.

De-Chroming

Similar to customizing wheels, a lot of people are de-chroming their cars now in order to provide a matte color look around their vehicle. It takes the silver cheapness away from the car and gives it a custom look that you can make exactly the way you like.

Again, vinyl wrap is used for this and it can be as low as $15 for the entire car, depending on how much wrap you need to use.
