Apple Event Brings Out The Unveiling Of The iPhone 11 And More

This week was the time for Apple’s 2019 new product unveiling and Apple certainly always like to turn some heads. This year, just like any other year that they put this on, they definitely didn’t disappoint.

Cnet reports that Apple is introducing Apple Arcade, a $5 monthly subscription gaming service. They also have a new iPad design, which is an update from its entry level design. Another addition is a new Apple watch series, with an improved display and updated fitness metrics.

All of these were nice little announcements, but their keynote unveiling was the preview of the iPhone 11. This product launch is three-pronged and it includes the iPhone 11, the iPhone 11 Pro, and the Pro Max.

The wildest thing about the new iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max is that they have three different cameras. These different lenses offer ultra wide pictures, an ability to zoom 4x, and other things.

These are great features but they are offering some problems. First off, they are scaring some people who have trypophobia, which is the fear of a cluster of small holes. The three camera holes are triggering these people, and they may not go for the Pro versions. Another thing is that the design of these three-camera phones is almost laughable. It’s amazing what these phones can do now, but how far is too far? This reminds me of the great razor wars of the early aughts. It seemed like once a week, there would be a new shaving razor out with an extra blade. It started with two blades, then it was three, then it went all the way up to 7 or 8. Competing phone companies are likely to do the same thing soon. We’ll see phones with 4 or 5 cameras and who knows when that will end.

Whatever it is that Apple announces, they’re always bound to stir up buzz and maybe even controversy, and this year’s were no different.
