You should know: if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is — ripe for the perfect prank.
An incredible deal on your dream car can make you feel like a kid again — and perhaps throw tantrums like one, too. When these “potential buyers” saw a Lamborghini Huracan on Craigslist for $40,000, they assumed the deal of a lifetime had come a-knocking through their browser windows. But boy, were they let down at the lot.
Slick photos included in the posting showed what appeared to be an essentially flawless Lambo. On first glance, car enthusiasts may notice that the car pictured was not even a Huracan; it was a Gallardo. While that may discourage some from this misleading deal, the true kicker came when the wrong-model-Lambo turned out to be an actual model — on a Hotwheels scale. With some clever camerawork, the seller craftily took pictures of a toy Lamborghini and posted an ad on Craigslist.
