
Brush fires have a wickedly intimidating, low-flying rival that firemen can’t help but whip out their cameras for. This DC-10 “Tanker 911” was captured dropping fire retardant onto terrain only hundreds of feet below the aircraft — which is what the plane was meant to do in the first place!
