These cars encompass the personality of these 13 states. What car do you think your state would be? Leave us a comment!
The state: Texas. Texas is well known for how prevalent trucks are, and nothing is more classic than a Ford F-Series pickup truck, the most popular vehicle in the state. Plus, you can’t go smaller than a 450, everything is bigger in Texas.
The state: New York. Taken from NYC, if you want to get around somewhere, you’re probably going to take a Taxi Cab. Maybe you will get lucky and land the Cash Cab!
The state: Well, not quite a state, but Washington DC. Many government workers live here who all need to get from point A to point B in a secretive fashion. You also have the President’s array of black cars, complete with thick armor. The secret service tends to use black SUVs as well.
The state: Florida. In the land of retirement, nothing fits better than a classic Buick.
The state: Minnesota. It’s not called the Land of 10,000 Lakes for nothing.
The state: Colorado. Colorado just legalized pot, so hippie wagons are now standard right? Those “pot tours” I keep hearing about must be in these vans. (Runner up: Washington.)
The state: Oregon. All those hipsters in Portland, if they aren’t riding fixie bikes everywhere, would probably fit in with one of these cars right?
The state: Any state in the midwest, they’re all basically the same, no? Farmland for miles, tended by tractors everywhere. And yes, she does think your tractor is sexy.
The state: Michigan. That one was easy. Detroit was once the home of many classic cars, and is still home to GM and Chrysler.
The state: Alaska, filled with rough and tough frontier-like territory. 4-wheel drive is a must.
The state: Rhode Island. A tiny car to fit in a tiny state.
The state: Hawaii. If you’re in Hawaii, you might as well be cruising with the top down to enjoy the beautiful weather.
The state: California. Of course California is very environmentally conscious, so they would be a Prius! Alternatively, it could turn out to be a Tesla Model S since Tesla is headquartered in Cali and leading the way on electric vehicles. Or even further still, it could be a Fisker Karma, if you’re talking about the rich and famous in Hollywood.
