21 Most Annoying Drivers You See On The Road

Driving can be so liberating if you don't run into any of these drivers on the road. These are certainly experiences we can all relate to.

Tailgater

Besides just being a bad driver, these people might suffer from: extreme loneliness, ignorance of car accidents, suicidal tendencies, or pervasive impatience.

I’m Blind!

What’s worse is when the tailgater has their high beams on, perhaps in a high sitting truck or SUV. It’s almost like a second sun spawned in your rear view mirrors, and the entire cabin is bathed in light to reveal just how messy your car really is.

Slow Left Lane Driver

You’re trying to follow the rules and get left when you want to go fast, but some blissfully ignorant jerk is just cruising along with a giant train of law-abiding citizens waiting to pass on the left. Drive Right people!

Road Rager

Sometimes no matter what you do, some hot-tempered driver will feel the need to lay on their horn, give you the finger, and attempt to pick a fight for seemingly no reason.

Far Too Kind

When someone refuses to take their turn at a stopsign, the entire flow of the intersection is ruined. Suddenly, everyone does a double-take to try to figure out if they accidentally just missed their turn, or if this moron is really just ignoring their turn and letting you go. What’s even worse is when you all try to go at once, and lurch forward 5 times, teasing each other.

Ungrateful little…

You always feel at least a little slighted when you kindly let someone into your lane, or pass in a difficult situation, and they don’t even acknowledge your kindness with a little wave; it’s not asking much.

Texting Teenager

Whenever you see a teenager staring at their lap, you suddenly become scared for everything around their car, and want to get away from it as quickly as possible. Heaven forbid they merge in behind you, making you anxious at every stop that they’ll not see you and ram into you.

Old People

Old people are another universally hated class of drivers. They just drive slow, take very meticulous turns, often act confused, and don’t know where they’re going…

Last Second Merger

You’ve been waiting in your lane for a while now because the other lane(s) are clearly closing, yet this jerk decides to fly down the empty lane and merge at the last possible second, threatening an accident if they don’t get their way.

Suicidal Motorcyclists

Their little speedbikes look like fun, but in traffic they accelerate as fast as possible in every little gap, whizzing around cars in a spectacle that can only be a demonstration of how much they don’t care for this world any longer.

On-Ramp Coaster

It’s extremely frustrating when you get on the on-ramp for a highway, and the guy in front of you can barely make it past 40 mph when the highway’s speed is set at 60. He’s just asking for a traffic jam.

Great Wall of Trucks

When a slow truck tries to pass an even slower truck, you could be stuck for a while. Similar activities include watching ice melt, paint dry, or grass grow. So much for cruise control.

Turn Signal Boycott

How annoying is it when someone slams on the brakes only to then turn at the last second at 2 mph, leaving you wishing they had given at least a little warning beforehand.

Turn Signal Enthusiast

It’s pretty nerve-wracking trying to pass someone on the left who is slowly driving with their left turn signal on in the right lane. Are they thinking about merging? Are they going to pull a U-turn? Did they forget it was on? What are they doing? Turn off the turn signal!

Final Destination

You feel like your life is in danger when you pass a truck loaded up with random stuff, none of which is strapped down. You can’t help but imagine what kind of final destination scene is going to happen when their stuff flies off into your car.

Blizzardmobile

This type of driver in the winter is the worst to drive behind. They barely scrape off enough snow to see out of their windows, and once they get going on the road, a miniature blizzard ensues behind them, blinding everyone in their wake.

Dark Cloud

When the light turns green, nothing is worse than the car in front of you spitting out a giant black cloud of smoke that you have to drive through. I like to hold my breath to make sure I’m not breathing in any of the junk, even though i’m inside my car with the windows up.

Earth-shaking Bass

When your entire world starts to vibrate, their music miiiiight just be a little too loud. They will enjoy needing hearing aids at the age of 30.

Ninja Cyclists

It’s startling when you’re driving along at night and suddenly a cyclist appears out of nowhere without any lights or reflectors. They must have a deathwish riding in the middle of the road wearing all black.

Cruise Control Problems

When you and a buddy are cruise controlling, but you’re off by about 1mph and can’t get it to match. Cruise control is also annoying when you try to pass someone who isn’t using cruise control and they speed up every time you begin to pass.

Drunk Driver

While many of these are annoying, nothing is actually worse than a drunk driver on the road. You never know who they might hurt. Sleepy drivers sometime look a little drunk too.

Lane-Ending Good Samaritan

You know the driver: the one that seems to stop in front of you while they let EVERY car in the lane that is ending over in front of them. We have to teach these people the zipper effect.

Doesn’t Want to be Passed

These are the punks who see you trying to pass them, legally and politely on the left of course, and speed up so that you can’t get by them. This is even more annoying when you have your cruise control engaged.
