It doesn’t snow much in Seattle, it averages less than seven inches a year total. So when the “biggest snow event in 40 years” hit the Emerald City last week, it’s understandable that people didn’t know how to react. For one group of people, they decided they would do something that most people grow out of by about age 10 if they live in a place that gets more snow in the winter - they threw snowballs at cars.

One woman, possibly a friend of theirs, though that isn’t clear, took exception, got angry, and turned her Jeep towards the snow-throwing offenders.

After the storm, which dropped up to eight inches of snow on the area, a video popped up of the angry woman attempting to run over the people that threw snow at her Jeep. After her car was struck, she pulled a quick u-turn and drove up onto the sidewalk, directly at a small group standing on the side of the road. Her Jeep comes to a stop, narrowly missing a fire hydrant and the onlookers, but she was just getting started.

After driving into the sidewalk, the woman gets out of the Jeep, and as she is screaming at everyone about snow ending up inside her car, one of the snowballers launches another one at her.

Throwing one more snowball at her was probably not the best decision that the guy in the video has ever made and, predictably, the irate woman gets even more upset and runs over to attack the tosser. He defends himself and takes a swing before people step in to break up the fight.

Finally another woman in the video gets everyone to simmer down and the video ends with the driver appearing to get back in her Jeep, though people were telling her that she probably shouldn’t be driving. It's not exactly clear why they don't want her to drive, but it may be because of the sheer amount of snow on the ground, or that she had too much to drink (no one appears to drinking in the video though), or maybe that she was just too angry with seemingly everything. As Bill Murray says in Groundhog's Day, you shouldn't drive angry. Especially in a snowstorm.

The lessons here? Don’t throw snowballs at cars, and if your car is hit by one, just keep driving. Don’t freak out, it’s only snow. Check out the full video below!
