In the world of crazy, there is normal crazy - like a jilted lover sending dead flowers to an ex - and there is completely bat-guano insane. This story falls into that latter category.
A North Carolina woman is facing multiple charges after she allegedly ran over her ex-boyfriend's alleged new girlfriend in her car.
The pair were walking together when Courtnay Danielle Lawrence saw them from her car, accelerated, and plowed into Christina Benson. Benson went flying over the hood of the car, arms and legs akimbo, hit the windshield, and fell off to the side, left bruised and battered.
Benson had suffered multiple injuries on her head, shoulders, hips and knees from the impact. The man, who wasn't identified, jumped out of the way at the last second. It might not be the most chivalrous moment, but he only had a moment to react as the car and the crazy ex-girlfriend barreled down on them.
Of course, this is 2019, so nothing really happens until it happens on social media. Lawrence was so proud of her stupid decision, she posed for a photo of the hood of her car, showing off the damage that Benson's impact made on it.
Of course, the post helped police identify the psycho and she's been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, hit and run, failure to give information/aid to personal injury and driving without a license.
We will all be safer when this wild one spends some time in the clink.
